Accomplished, professional visual designer, currently searching for the next great thing. I'm a senior-level designer/art director focused on web design & production. I’ve worked in print and web design for over 15 years. Extensive experience with consumer and user-oriented web sites, including user testing, profiles, and usability/accesibility design. I am currently based in Switzerland, and am available for contract, consultation, and other potential engagements. Particularly interested in working with enthusiastic, innovative team in a start-up environment.

Netflix.com | Senior Designer & Art Director [+]
I worked with Netflix from 2005 – 2008, leading the visual and interaction design for several areas, including the instant viewing video feature, ratings & recommendations, DVD purchase store, movie/site search, and movie queue. I also took part in extensive quantitative and qualitative testing, using methodical A/B testing and metrics analyisis to prove and refine our design and feature implementations.
eMusic.com | Creative Director [+]
I was with eMusic.com from 2000 – 2004. Originally brought on as a graphic designer and producer, I moved into the Senior Designer/Creative Director position, overseeing two complete redesigns of the website and a team of 4 designers. I led the visual implementation and ongoing design updates for over 4 years, working with the editorial team to design and produce highly creative, effective, and compelling visual presentations for feature content.

Brought together through corporate acquisition by Vivendi Universal in early 2002, eMusic and MP3.com were closely linked in operations and resources. The following are examples of some of the work I completed for use on MP3.com and other related sites.
Hearts of Space | Senior Graphic Artist [+]
I was employed at Hearts of Space records from 1997 – 2000. During my time there, I designed and produced the packages and covers for over 20 CDs, along with associated promotional materials. I also designed my first website: the redesign of the entire Hearts of Space site, which launched in early 2000. Below are a selection of the CD covers I designed during this time.
