I Need a Net-fix man!
I am officially going through withdrawal symptoms. I cancelled my Netflix subscription a few weeks ago, and now I shuffle around my house aimlessly, thumb twitching in response to the ghost remote grasped tightly in the claw of my hand. I didn't cancel because I wasn't satisfied, I am just making some financial adjustments till I feel more confident in the economy and the stability of my workplace. But it's tough. I have cable, but I pared that down from the deluxe premium channels package to just the base + HBO. This plus ReplayTV gets me through pretty well. I guess it's a good thing though. I was reading much less with Netflix, since there was always another italian giallo movie to watch, or the best of sci-fi b movies to catch up on, not to mention all the old michael caine movies. Ack! I was on the 4 at a time plan, which pretty much kept me in DVD nirvana at all times. I had them send my rental history to me, and I had watched 242 movies since I started with them in july of 2000. I had also applied a rating to about 757 movies on their site. sweet jeebus, what a freak I am. So now I plan to catch up with that stack 'o books by my nightstand. I wonder if there's a Netflix style book subscription? kidding! just kidding. For posterities sake, you can read my entire sordid Netflix history here.Posted by nothingistrue at December 12, 2002 11:09 AM

I had the 3 at a time plan and that was too much for me so I cancled too. I liked it, but there just wasn't the time and extra funds for it.....
